Lake Of Fire - Tracy

One of the nicest evenings out with friends I’ve had in a long time. Great food, great prices, great service and a live band. What more could you ask for? The halibut was cooked to perfection. The Greek shrimp pasta and chicken pasta was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Just the right blend of garlic and wine. You can even ask the chef to “cook to order” so each dish is unique. Our waitress was very personable without being overbearing. No wait time. The atmosphere was casual and the local live jazz trio made it seem like they were there to play just for us. What a nice relief from all the big chain restaurants that make you wait an hour for a table on a Saturday night surrounded by 200 other people. This is definitely a “must come back again” place.

Awesome flavors and quality! We are always on the prowl for good food here in Tracy and really love to support the small local places we enjoy, which are few and far between! It’s been open for 2 years but we just found it now – Lake of Fire. This place is excellent, for a breif moment, I forgot I was still in Tracy! Kevin Conway owns it and runs it really well (he also caters and bakes if you need it . I had pasta pomodoro, my hubby had Greek Style Shrimp, it was pasta with shrimp, arugula with feta, it was amazing. We also had some awesome Bruscetta and Kevin’s really popular “Garlic bread rolls”.
