Ordered two plant based mains and left extremely dissatisfied. For what we paid the minuscule plate of vegetables served to us were suboptimal to say the least. I understand this restaurant is one of Townsville’s fine dining restaurants, but the food served was definitely not at this standard. After 4 weeks road trip and hearty sick by avo Toast and vegan burger, I was looking forward to a decent herbal meal and I was not disappointed! The service and the staff were nice and the food met the place. Well recommended.
There are a 5 different plant-based options to choose, we have all of them and they were all amazing!!
I never visited this restaurant for special occasions disappointed. The waiting staff is so beautiful that the atmosphere is beautiful. The menu changes occasionally, but is always really happy. The portions can be small, but I'm always full. Offers vegan wine as well as, the employees are always happy to learn which are vegan.
It is very hard to write this review as our evening at A Touch of Salt was flawless. The food was outstanding, would not be shamed in NYC. The wait person was professional, knowledgable and of very good humour. The ambience was as warm as a comfortable stately home but totally unpretentious. The potato gnochi, duck and lamb were superb but make sura you leave room for desert! In short an all round wonderful experience.
