What Veganbloke doesn't like about Café At 407:
Visited one lunchtime. The place was busy and had a very nice atmosphere seems a lot of locals come here regularly. I don't think there was anything vegan on the menu, though the guy taking orders indicated that things could be made vegan (leaving cheese off the hummus plate/ leaving cheese/meats off various salads etc. . While the options for vegetarians and vegans are somewhat limited, the dishes I tried were delicious and expertly prepared with fresh local ingredients. Kudos go to the organization behind this establishment for their efforts. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable, and welcoming.
I had lunch at this busy restaurant, which had a lovely atmosphere and seemed to be a popular spot for locals. I didn't notice any vegan options on the menu, although some dishes could potentially be modified to be vegan (like removing cheese from the hummus plate or omitting cheese and meat from various salads). I ordered the California burger after confirming its vegan status, but I was disappointed to find it came with melted cheese on top and there was cheese on the small side salad as well.
No joke—this is genuinely the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. I opted for the homemade biscuit, which came with egg, cheese, and Beyond sausage. The biscuit was absolutely perfect, and they must use some local cheese that was sharp yet not overpowering. Simply put, it was an amazing breakfast sandwich!
