I had the duck confit and braised greens. I would have given five stars if the dish wasn't so overwhelmingly salty. Definitely try the blood and sand cocktail. Very good! View all feedback.
What c H w doesn't like about Parlor Market:
I have never minded paying for food, but every single item at parlor market is over priced by about 30%. Its not that any of the food or service is bad, its just that it is hard to justify buying their 38 dollar steak, when you know its not as good as other steaks you have had at that price range. same for the pasta (shrimp scampi), hangar steak (which is their signature, and is simply not great). Everything we got there was great. The Duck is especially wonderful. Best I've ever had. Half salads with meals are a good size.
Excellent menu where everything tasted fresh. Our waitress was one of the best I have ever experienced in Jackson.
Food outstanding, service great, hanger steak out of the world, only down side was I order the house made ice cream and instead of coming and asking me what other flavor I wanted I was giving rosemary.. (not my favorite) but the coffee flavored ice cream was AMAZING!!
The fillet special was awesome. We wish it was on the menu all the time!!!
Reservations was for 5pm and valet didn’t start until 5:30 so we had to park ourselves 1/4 mike away and walk. Valet later brought our car when we left which was nice. We will return.
