C S's - Tougaloo

Make sure to check out CSs! This hidden gem is well-known among locals and while it may not look fancy from the outside, the owner Pat is friendly and serves delicious food. Don't hesitate to give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

I had a great experience at CS's with their delicious burgers and chicken tenders. The option to add an extra beef patty for a double burger is only a small additional cost. However, the standout for me was their desserts. I don't usually have dessert, but I'm glad I tried theirs. The peach cobbler was phenomenal and the peanut butter pie was delicious. I've heard they also have banana pudding, so I'll definitely try that on my next visit.
