Bernice the vegetarian version of your wild mushroom and chicken penne was to die for delicious!!! Huge portion and I sopped up the Alfredo sauce with perfectly crusty cheesy garlic bread. View all feedback.
What Paxton Nienow doesn't like about The Village Pizza And Restaurant:
Had the Chicken Condon-Blu...was nice but not spectacular, Husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were mostly filler and sauce tasteless and acidc. Ceasar salad lacked taste and no garlic. We used to LOVE the food there but it hass gone downhill over the years and we will not be returning View all feedback.

The owner of this family owned and run restaurant was absolutely wonderful, she is a kind pleasant lady. They are very welcoming and accommodating and have many options for dining whether you sit on the deck to view the water or inside the bar area for a more relaxed pub style meal or have a sit down dining experience in the restaurant. The food is consistently good and the pizza is my number one recommendation! They also do take out!
On our way home from a weekend away my husband and I stopped by this restaurant on the way home. We were hungry and thought this might be a nice place to eat dinner. I think the part that bothered us the most was the inhospitable nature of the young girl that was serving us. Not a smile, not a welcome, nothing. We asked how long the wait would be for a pizza and she said " I dont know" . She never went to find out. We were the only customers in the dining room . We waited for about 20 min for her to take our order but she nevr showed up. I finally got up to get her attention. We ordered our pizza. One of the unattractive features of this restaurant is that there is NO airconditioning. It was a hot, humid, breezeless day. Eventually a women asked us if we wanted to sit on the patio at the back. We tried it but it was around 6pm and just crazy hot with no breeze and no shade because of the position of the sun on the umbrella. There were two fans in the dining room but were not turned on. There was a window airconditioner which only cooled the til area. It was so uncomfortable and we were so hot. It took an hour for the pizza to come. When it did it was severely undercooked and the vegetables on top still too raw and crispy for a pizza. we were very unhappy with the service from the young girl. We would never eat there again.
Ordered delivery here for the first time I was very impressed with quality of toppings and the thin crust dough.
Great Italian food if you have lots of time to enjoy it. Cannelloni and lasagna are superb. Best take out pizza in the area
