First time experience whilst holidaying in Devon excellent takeaway for 10 of us, big portion sizes, in fact we couldn 't eat it all. Excellent customer service in rectifying a slight 'technical ' error we had. Would definitely use them again when we next holiday in Devon highly recommended. View all feedback.
What Sally Harrison doesn't like about Balti King:
Awful food, seemed like microwaved shop bought, tasteless mush. Also different price if paying by card or cash which I had never come across before. Not much else to add. View all feedback.
I've been going to the Balti King for years and it's my favorite choice for a curry in the opposite love the mood in there and simon is a fantastic host. a good cozy curry house in the heart of dead. the takeaways are also consistent. I would recommend: chicken pathia. it is not too sweet and very rich in taste. all in all: a brilliant spot. 5/5.
Eating was tasteless and bland. bad quality and probably one of the worst I've ever eaten. the restaurant was dirty and ashamed. a complete waste of money .
Order while we were outside and around 7.30 a.m. on Sunday for a group of 8. everything was punctual and tasty. in the did there was so much food, it took us to the next day too. great service, great food
Return to the opposite to visit family and ordered departure. pathia was delicious! garlic nan was right and everyone was happy. all items were hot and delicious. the next day there was enough for seconds.
This restaurant might have 0% kerb appeal, be on the shabby and dated side décor wise inside, but do not be put off dining here. The food was very tasty and served by friendly staff. The menu covers all those traditional dishes you would expect...from an Indian restaurant. So, if you are in Totnes looking for that big spicy hit, Balti King will deliver dishes to satisfy your cravings.
