We belong to a Lunch Club , and have been here for Menu del Dia a couple of times before with that group. Today, we went with a couple of good friends, and ordered from the Menú. Seated by the window, we could enjoy the stunning views, while relaxing as we were thoroughly well looked after. Four of us, all ordered different meals. Three were great but my wife found hers not very nice she hardly ate anything. The wait... View all feedback.
What Rojo447 doesn't like about Club De Tenis Totana:
I had heard many good reports about the restaurant but on our visit found it to be quite disappointing. I was with a large group that dine out regularly. We had the fixed menu that was very reasonably priced. The service was a bit erratic with long delays, they also ran out of beef fir the main course and offered pork as a substitute. Very disappointed today as the meal was well below par. It started with the salad which arrived and had a number of leaves that were shrivelled and gooey, not the usual. Starter of stew was next and this was more like normal, very tasty and full of potatoes, chick peas, chorizo and more. Main course was next but the beef was rather tough and overcooked my emperador (swordfish) was, however, slightly undercooked but nonetheless quite tasty. We ordered a gluten free dessert but the chocolate mousse arrived with small, round, chocolate biscuit pieces not gluten free. Sorry but will not be going back for a while.
Very good place for menu del dia. Open on Monday. My wife and I were again rewarded with good service, ambiance and spending food.
Had great menu del dia, staff quick, friendly, for 10 euros, you get drink, salad, main, desert and coffee.
