Stella's - Torrington

I have never dined in at this restaurant, but I have ordered delivery from them. They specialize in seafood, and let me tell you, it is always delicious. The pizza here is also very good, you can't go wrong with a classic pepperoni pizza at a great price.

This is the worst pizza I have ever tasted! The dough was undercooked, with a hard bottom and soggy top. It was extremely chewy and lacked flavor. The pizza was overly greasy, resulting in a pool of grease after it ran off. The cheese was unpleasant and the chicken was overcooked, some pieces even burnt and dry. As the pizza cooled, the cheese became hard and inedible within minutes. I ended up throwing the whole thing away. What a waste of money! I would not eat it again even if I was paid to. This was my first time trying Stella's in Torrington and I will not be going back.

Stella?s is our go to in town. Awesome family, great food, and fast service. Tony is the man btw! The slices will have you coming back for lunch and the full pies are consistently top notch. Homemade dough and sauce! We order double Cut when we orderlarges, some places in town act like they never heard of this or it?s a big deal, here it?s never a problem! Stellas all day.

I placed an order on UberEats during regular business hours. After placing the order, I tried calling the restaurant several times to confirm the order and delivery, but they did not answer the phone. Unfortunately, the delivery never arrived. My nephew was really looking forward to his favorite dish, fettuccine Alfredo, but we were disappointed. This is not a good way to operate a restaurant. Please follow through on your orders and earn some money. This level of service is unacceptable.

I've grabbed pizza from here at lunch time, on a few occasions. The pizza is a nice thin, crispy, crust, and tastes delicious. The restaurant is only offering take out and delivery right now. Probably due to COVID-19. The front end and kitchenareas are in plain view to the customers, and they're very clean and well kept.
