The food was absolutely delicious ? the service could have been a bit better in terms of friendliness and attentiveness. No issue on my end with the time it took to get my food as it was being cooked in the back so it came out hot good. They have somewhat of a bar and although I didn't have anything besides water/soda to drink the drinks I saw being made looked very tasty and refreshing. I will definitely be circling... Food was good, but service was rude and late. Ordered ahead to pick up, and still had to wait 15 mins. Order was then only put in when I arrived, as I understand Spanish. They also added a tip I didn’t give due to this bad service. Reported it to my bank.If I ever go back… cash only!!! View all feedback.

Food service have been nothing short of TOP TIER at Sol Café. In my humble opinion, one of the most underrated and deliciously curated Latino restaurants in all of Connecticut! I mean that whole heartedly and this place has continued to exceed my expectations. I’ve been a customer for almost 2 years, and I can’t be any more satisfied with my experiences throughout my time here! Cheers to many years to come!?
I went to Sol for the first time Friday evening. The shrimp ceviche was like a party in my mouth! It came with wonderful fried plantains that were perfectly crisp. The flavor was amazing! We got the Guac and chips for the table and the chips were served hot and crisp and the Guac was great. I ordered the chicken stir-fry as my entrée and the spices were perfect. If you are ordering from the full service menu plan to stay awhile and visit with you friends, maybe have a nice cocktail while you wait as many of the items are made from scratch and take awhile to prepare. It is worth the wait. They also have items like empanadas etc... that are ready to serve if you are in more of a hurry. Atmosphere is quaint and the servers are friendly too!
Another great, real, ethnic food restaurant. Will be back.
This is the best Hispanic food in CT! For many years, I had been looking for a place that makes Hispanic food the way it is cooked here, and I found it here!! It is absolutely delicious!!
