Stopped here for a quick lunch today and was impressed. Service was super friendly and after I ordered, they brought a small bowl of amazing cured black olives and a basket of chewy/crispy/fabulous bread. I tried two apps: the fried feta cigars and the walnut salad dressed with pomegranate molasses. Both were outstanding. I look forward to going back with a group of people so I can dig deeper into the menu. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pasha Authentic Turkish Cuisine:
They had a short menu or something that day, even though it's like Ramadan! Did not have anything we wanted to order (that sounded good) off the menu and whatever we did ended up ordering was uninspiring. Dodged a bullet not picking this place to cater for my nephew's birthday party! View all feedback.
I highly recommend this place if you're looking for the best kebabs and seafood. The restaurant may not look appealing from the outside, but the interior is beautifully designed with traditional Turkish decor. Although the service may be a bit slow, I love the food here and would definitely suggest it to anyone looking to try authentic Turkish cuisine.
One tends to bunch all Mediterranean cuisine together and the result is a predictable assortment of dishes. Pasha was a welcomed experience for authenticity and an education in Turkish cuisine. The restaurant was still quiet early in the evening which only added to the enjoyment. As part of the starting appetizers we were treated to freshly baked Turkish bread straight out of the oven and a small dish of marinated black olives. The lentil soup was smooth and flavorful. The warm zucchini fritters served with yogurt were a delightful starting point before the main dishes.I went for the Special Beyti Kebab as it was my first choice although other substitutes would have been very satisfying I'm sure. It is made from ground lamb flavored with garlic, hot peppers, parsley and grilled on skewers and wrapped in a lavash bread served with particular sauce and with rice. More flavoring to the rice would have enhanced that central part of the plate but the main part of the plate was quiet filling. Others at the table chose the Pasha sautee with Tender slices of lamb, sauteed with fresh onions, green peppers, tomato sauce and mushrooms served over fries and garlic yogurt. Actual potatoes would probably be a necessary ingredient to this otherwise satisfying dish. For beverages, I opted for carrot juice. I was warned that it is not what it sounds like. The real drink is actually Şalgam. It is typically made with the juice of red carrot pickles, salted, spiced, and flavored with aromatic turnip çelem) fermented in barrels with the addition of ground bulgur. It is very different if you never had it before but I wanted to try it because that's what it should be about. For dessert, I kept away from the usual baklava and was very pleased with my choice that I highly recommend: Kunefe. It is made with cheese pastry soaked in sweet sugar-based syrup. It comes to the table nice and hot and is very flavorful. I had some Turkish tea with it.All in all it was a lovely discovery that I was pleased to discover.
We dined here for the first time last night after returning from Turkey. We were eager to try this place, as we had a great love for Turkish food, especially their kababs. The atmosphere was elegant with gentle Turkish music, giving us a taste of Turkey. Our server was very friendly and helped us choose dishes that suited our preferences. We ordered the assorted pide, which was baked perfectly and simply melted in our mouths. The kabab was also delicious, authentic, and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be revisiting this restaurant as it brought back fond memories of our time in Turkey.
Excellent food and service! I visited there couple of times and this place exactly represent Turkish Cuisine. If you visit on weekends , you can get a chance to find delicious İskender and doner. However, make sure you have a reservation, coz friday, saturday and sunday is very busy.
We happened upon this place while searching for a spot to enjoy Turkish coffee, and we found it here. The coffee was good, so we kept returning for it. One day, craving something sweet other than baklava, I tried the kunefe recommended by a staff member, and it was delicious! Intrigued, we came back again to sample the food. The Gavurdagi salad was refreshing, and while I'm not a fan of lamb, everything else we tried was so good that I would happily reorder it. The pides, poultry, and kabobs were all tasty, though the burek cigars left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. However, the restaurant was very clean, with friendly staff and decent food. Their homemade 'ayran' - a yogurt-water blend - was incredibly refreshing. I suggested to the manager that a rooftop patio would make the place even more fantastic.
