KOS Restaurant - Toronto

Love coming here in the warm weather as the patio is great, food and service excellent. Wasn't sure what to expect dining inside in the cold weather as the interior looked a bit small, but alas it was another great experience. Service was excellent, the Huervos Rancheros was tasty and perfectly prepared and the seating area more than enough for me and my service dog. It's a small place with pedestrian design but it's cozy and clean. Value for the money is excellent! Will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was delicious. Eggs were perfectly poached, food was served hot and was fresh. Service was awesome. Spinach and mushroom side was delicious.

Visited after the good reviews…did I go to the wrong place? Warm beer, slow service, had to chase drinks ordered when we sat down way after our food was delivered and the food was abysmal. Classic Benny had sauce that was NOT hollandaise but some other tasteless version. So weird! Quickly dirty outside too. Everyone else did seem to be enjoying it around us…

We thought we would try this place out given the good reviews and how busy it was. I ordered eggs royale and my hubbie ordered eggs Benedict. They were dreadful. The hollandaise sauce resembled snot and the whole meal was tasteless. It came with a side of iceberg and strange mashed potato. The beer was warm.. Wouldn’t recommend.

After waiting 30 minutes for food checked with server to see if it would be much longer and advised her we'd been waiting half an hour. The server said we were next and that it was busy. She said she'd also remind them that I'd like my eggs softly poached. A few minutes later she came to tell us that they'd mixed up our order. She reconfirmed our order and after a minute or so we saw her bringing out food for people who came in after us. We left. On a previous occasion we had asked for our bill but it was a long time coming. Other customers were going up to the counter and asking for and paying for their bills. When I got up to do the same thing I was told to sit down because the restaurant was busy and it was too crowded. I thought at that time I should reconsider ever coming back to this restaurant.
