Despite this, others have had positive experiences, praising the friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and delicious food. Complimentary treats like champagne and birthday desserts were also appreciated by guests. Overall, Joey's offers a range of unique, flavorful dishes that are worth trying, with standout items like the Korean fried cauliflower and Mediterranean bowl receiving high praise. The restaurant's ambiance, attentive service, and variety of menu options make it a popular choice for diners near Yonge and Dundas Square, despite the occasional hiccups in food quality.
We came as a group and made reservations for 5:15 and had to wait over 20 minutes to get our table. it was quite loud and very dark in the restaurant. the.
Tried their pretty peach glollini potion (icy), followed by two appetizers: gyozas and fried cauliflower. delicious and original! main dish was very filling and.
I ate with my buddy Kelly today. Compliments Bubbly was provided as I waited for our table. I had chicken parmesan (spaghetti pomodoro.
The food is very flavorful and the portions are a good as well. Taking an outdoor table was a good choice to people watch. Being inside has a very good atmosphere also. Price was reasonable for downtown TO.
I had been to Joey's at the shops at Don Mills and it was decent and this was my first time at the Eaton Centre location. It was for lunch and was very busy, we did not have a reservation, but only had to wait 15 minutes. One thing is, even though the Restaurant is very nicely laid out, with good decor, it was pretty loud when fully packed. Before I get to our food, I must say our waitress / sever was exceptional and her name was Sante. To management, do not let this woman go, she was warm, polite, very hospital and genuinely enjoyed doing her job and we would ask to be served by her again. As for the Food I had the Tuna Tacos, and while they were very tasty and well presented, the portion was not that big. my friend had the Hawaiian Tune Sushi and that was excellent as well, with a bit bigger portion. Since I was still hungry I had to get a Burger. The Burger was great, very fresh and a high grade of beef, my only complaint was the shoe string fries, I mean they were thinner than MacDonald's, maybe next time a different side order, but I would recommend to Joey.s Management to do proper full size fires, as the Burger was great and should be accompanied by great Fries. All in all it was very good and we will return and hope to be served by Sante again
