That's really what it is. it has everything for him: great location, fun atmosphere, great eating and warm, efficient, service. on the road and on the back you have taken a place, both saw good places to din and watch people. they offer breakfast all day, so we chose it. the energy breakfast and the film city breakfast were both delicious and we were very satisfied. the portions are generous and the prices are fair.... What Elaina Paucek doesn't like about Film Cafe:
Eating was decent, not so amazing, but not terrible. to come for eating, but all the servers and employees were super nice. I've charged $2.50 for 1 piece of cheese, so I was kind of disappointed. the fat in the Prosciutto sandwich was so thick that I could not bite and had to remove it : View all feedback.
We thought it was kinda unique the name ‘Film Café’ so we gave it a try. We just ordered regular coffee and relaxed while admiring the place and the decor. The place is clean.
I enjoy their tea. Peppermint comes in a big mug with two bags. See photo. The americanos are great. There is a 50 cent debit charge for purchases under $5.00. Boo! I had the breakfast and it is AWESOME!!!! Eggs, bacon, tomatoes... the whole shebang!...I really enjoyed their bread they use for the toast. Seemed homemade! Great for working on your laptop, as the wifi works, and the music isn’t too loud. Nice staff!
I've always wanted to visit this place so decided to pop in today for a coffee and cake. The coffee was really delicious and excellently prepared.we loved the cheesecake which was decadent and tasty. We will be back!
I am a frequent visitor to Kensington Market with many visits a week. I decided to try this place. Service was slow. They clearly forgot to make my breakfast order. Coffee was weak and poor quality. Atmosphere was average. Prices were normal. Unfortunately, the overall...experience was worst than average. I would not dine here again.
My rating is between 4-4.5 stars. Went here on a saturday morning around 11am ish. The restaurant was half busy as most tables were filled already. You get seated and given a menu. But you need to pay at the front and you get a...number with your order. Be prepared to pay 10% service when you pay the bill. We got the Original Okonomiyaki and Artichoke Sandwich. For drinks, got a brewed coffee and jenmaicha. All the food and drinks were good, but the boyfriend complained (to me) that there was no sugar cream served with his coffee. He had to go and get it himself. The okonomiyaki was a tad on the saucey side. The sandwich was really cheesy and creamy.
