Located near Honest Ed's (Bloor & Bathurst) Visited this yummy poke place (twice) during Toronto Poke week (Nov.7-13) and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, clean, modern & simple but cozy atmosphere. The sample poke bowls were yummy, lite and tasted very unique, healthy, every ingredient complimented each other. Highly recommended :) View all feedback.
What Genoveva Simonis doesn't like about Big Tuna Poke Bar:
After having my first poke in San Francisco a few days before, I was really looking forward to trying Poke at home. I was really disappointed. The fish didn't take as fresh but more importantly, it lacked flavor. It is a new restaurant, perhaps, they are still working on their recipe... View all feedback.
Came with my friend and we were both very impressed by the quality of the ingredients, the personal touch from the owner/chef, and the aesthetic of the restaurant. Would definitely visit again!!!

My wife and I visited on a recommendation from a friend, good call !! The place is very small but clean. The food is handled respectfully, fresh ingredients and very tasty. Nice little find!
Have you ever had Poke' the word is native Hawaiian and means small cuts. Well this style of food is finally here in Toronto and is owned and operated by Anh Tran a former employee of mine, and just let me say how extremely proud I am of him. His unique establishment is all about the Poke'. Located on Bloor St West in Korea town with approx 20 seats Anh creates amazing fresh flavourful bowls of love. Anh is extremely talented and a perfectionist. He is focused on his skills and his love for creating amazing food. He is an absolute professional in all aspects of his career. This restaurant is spotless, with everything in its place. It you are not educated in this style of nourishment Anh has supplied you with the history of fish and the quality of each part of the process of Poke' with a book located at the entrance to the restaurant. The facility is open and there is nothing to hide, so unusual for the industry. You purchase you desired base and build with the Poke' and your topping. All ingredients are scratch made for the utmost quality. From the fresh made salsa and crispy lotus chips the toppings are endless. The classic Big Katuna is mouth watering with ponzu flavoured Japanese inspired buns spicy mayo and wasabi peas. My mouth salivates just thinking about it. But the flavours are not just Asian the El Guapo has a huge reflection on traditional Mexican style.Amazing food, amazing place and amazing people who truly love there craft. I wish your tree to grow big with many leaves.
