First visit to this recently-opened restaurant in Scarborough, formerly occupied by Bo-Peep Restaurant. Unpretentious location in mini-mall. Large and varied menu; surprisingly good food, reasonable prices; friendly and efficient service. Will return!

Although the interior of this restaurant has been completely renovated it is bland and unimaginative. The staff are generally eager to please but lack polish. The only draft beer was out of stock. The beef medallions and the back ribs were much better than expected and the medley of roasted vegetables were wonderful. The prices were reasonable. All in all a huge improvement over the restaurant that was previously in this location and a welcome addition to our neighbourhood.

Service was excellent and attentive. Food was delicious. My chicken stuffed with feta and spinach was perfect. The side vegies were very tasty. The key lime pie was a bit too sweet.

I came to the Cliffside Bistro this past Saturday dinner with my wife and 7 year old boy and are always surprised by the great quality of food despite this being a small restaurant in a Scarborough plaza. From the appetizers, to the main courses and to dessert, everything was superb. I would definitely recommend the Seafood Trio and their Veal Scallopini. Although it looked like they were short in staff, the service was absolutely wonderful. Kabby and Enicka were friendly, funny and made sure that we felt welcomed and comfortable through our night.

I had a breakfast during their opening week; my immediate thought about the taste was that it reminded me of food at ViPei - the server confirmed my suspicions - same owners/cook or previous cook. It was a good breakfast, nevertheless. I have not tried any other dishes so far.
