Bazille - Nordstrom Yorkdale - Toronto

This is such a great restaurant. All the food is tasty and well prepared. Each dish has a unique twist that makes it wonderful. The service is outstanding and very friendly. Mains were lobster mac cheese, pasta with shrimps, hangar steak and salmon. All mains were great. Huge selection of wines by glass. All in all, a great lunch.

Being one of my favourite lunch spots, I returned to Bazille for an outstanding meal. The citrus lemon shrimp salad is fabulous great taste, great to look at and filling. My lunch partner had another salad that was the special of the day and it was equally fabulous. Michaela did an outstanding job of servicing us, and we always had fresh coffee in our cups. This quiet, bright, comfortable restaurant is a gem.

My friends and I have dined at this restaurant twice now and both times have been excellent. The service is top-notch and the food is delicious. The salads are made with fresh ingredients. On our first visit, we had a late dinner and were pleased to find out that we could stay past closing time to finish our meal. We highly recommend dining here and will definitely be back when we're shopping at Yorkdale.

Amidst the COVID worries of the crowded mall during the holiday season, our lunch at Bazille today was a calm, quiet getaway. We did not even know this restaurant existed on the 3rd floor of the Nordstrom department store! The french onion and crab bisque to start were excellent! We followed that with our main courses. The warm Asian glazed chicken salad was very good, although I think the sauce on the chicken was a bit too salty. We ended our meal with an absolutely delicious bread pudding. Our server was polite and attentive, but not overbearing. All in all, a very pleasant lunch experience. We will be back again for sure.

I had lunch at the restaurant and ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp and a Nicoise salad with salmon. The romaine lettuce was incredibly fresh, tasting like it had just been picked from a garden. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The service was fantastic as always. The food was of excellent quality and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet.
