I don't usually write reviews, but this café is an incredible find on the NC500! The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was the best we had during our entire trip. They also accommodate gluten-free needs. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine with a view of the sea. I can't recommend this place highly enough; my only wish is that we lived closer so we could visit more often! Great job, guys! View all feedback.
What a nice little caffe. travel nc500 and look for a place to eat, everyone who travels nc500 knows that they don't get a caffe very easy on the streets. make sure that they drink for eating n, beautiful view from the back of the shop. also toilets so clean and good space for parking.
We stopped in here a few times when staying in Tongue. Great coffee and cakes. Fabulous outside seating and weather was good when we were there. Gift shop was good too.
This cafe has plenty of parking. A gift shop and toilets available. They 're child and dog friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food cooked fresh. The coffee cup was tiny though, I 'd have preferred a proper mug of coffee (cappacino) than the little teacup sized one we got. The macaroni cheese with garlic bread was lovely but missing a side of chips or something else with it. Kind of got very samey after getting halfway through the bowel. Still very nice though.
Lovely little gem. Friendly staff. Bacon sandwiches and coffee amazing. Great prices. Toilets really clean. Great atmosphere, definitely worth a visit
This was our favourite café find while doing the NC500. Came across it passing through Tongue on our way to Thurso after a huge hail shower. Stunning views of the coast, facilities were great with a lovely gift shop offering. Staff were really friendly too and had the best coronation chicken sandwich ever. Parking easy too and well sign posted. Would definitely stop again if in the area again.
