Lovely traditional pub. Good music played without being intrusive. Haven't tried the food, but didn't want to give no stars.
Visited on a cycling trip, didn't go in so can't rate it more highly. My friend bought the coffees this time. , I enjoyed sitting in the garden, there was room to park the bike and rest up.
Lovely traditional pub. Didn't have food, but friendly and good ales
Located in the heart of Wrotham, the Rose&Crown pub is a standout spot. John and Karen offer impeccable service, making each visit personalised and friendly. Their Saturday pizzas are unbeatable, crafted flawlessly with delicious toppings. For locals seeking a cozy atmosphere and top-notch service, Rose&Crown is a must-visit. Highly recommended for a memorable experience in Wrotham.
Six friends booked in for Fish Friday and we were not disappointed! The fish was very well cooked and presented and represented good value for the amount that we had. The beers were also good.
The Rose pub offers a simple, friendly atmosphere with a nice range of ales. While service can be slow, the food is reasonably priced and delicious, with good options for those with dietary restrictions. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making visitors feel at home. With clean facilities and great food, this pub is a fantastic choice for a cozy meal or a relaxing drink. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Rose is worth a visit for a warm and inviting experience.

Play backgammon with mate in nice cosy pub with great service highly recommend. Good choice of beers and food.
Thanks to all concerned for an enjoyable lunch time visit yesterday. All 10 of us (plus dog) enjoyed good food and excellent hospitality from pub staff. As it is midway (almost) between relations based at Maidstone and Orpington it is likely that we will return.
Enjoyed a wonderful festive Christmas visit. There were 7 of us. Had a really lovely lunch, the pie and mash was delicious, my friends had the fish and chips, scampi and chips, omelette and salad. Everyone said their food was great! Not too expensive either. Well worth a visit. Lovely pub!
We had a fabulous meal here, there where ten of us meeting here, none of us had been before but we were all very pleased with our choice of a meeting place for Sunday lunch, some had the roast, there was vegetarian choices I had Chicken Caesar salad lots of chicken and the sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous. Can’t recommend the place enough friendly help staff and Karen was a delight so so helpful.
The owners of this delightful village pub were so accommodating to our group of 10 on a busy Sunday. Every roast we chose was both generous and delicious, the most ‘home cooked’ roast I’ve ever tried outside home! The selection of puddings was equally impressive. Looking forward to a future visit to try the weekday menu.

The best Sunday roast I've ever had. I checked it elsewhere and said that I hadn't had the bill yet, but whatever they complained, I would like to pay. it turned out that it was also favorable. beautiful people and a beautiful building.
Not only will they get great service, but eating is great!
Fabulous sunday plus the curry and burger is amazing
Excellent food and great service thanks Mark and Val for always looking after our breakfast meeting.
They offer an excellent breakfast for the local business people. All locally sourced products.

This pub has a simple atmosphere and is not very friendly to newcomers. It seems like the regulars are judging you as soon as you walk in. The service and atmosphere both receive a rating of 3 out of 5.
After taking an evening stroll around Wrotham with the Tonbridge and Malling Ramblers, we decided to stop at this restaurant for a delicious fish and chips meal. The beer selection was excellent and the hosts were very friendly. We will definitely be returning. The average price per person ranged from £10 to £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5-star rating. Highly recommended dishes include the Fish and Chips. Parking options include a free parking lot and free street parking.
Lovely village pub with a great selection of beers, including a delicious session pale ale. The portion size is a bit smaller than a pint, but that's okay. Prices range from £1-£10 per person. Excellent service and a great atmosphere.
Alway a good roast Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast
Visited The Rose Crown yesterday for a Baby Shower party in the on site Old Barn. Nice Shepherd Neame pub. Very well kept clean. The Guiness was superb the staff very helpful friendly. The barn is a great venue for a party of up to 60 people. The real fire was great for atmosphere taking the chill of a typical spring day. Will use again.
