Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant offers a simple pub menu with overcooked food, but a beautiful garden and atmosphere for drinks. While service was slow due to staff shortage, the potential for a great pub experience was evident. Despite a unique menu situation, the food was decent once it arrived. A great choice for a wake, with friendly service and a superb buffet. Sunday dinner was a standout experience with excellent food and portions. Overall, The Rose Revived offers good food, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere, making it a worthy choice for a meal or gathering with friends.
Today, best Fish and Chips I can remember having. My daughter and Son-in-law had plates packed with Roast and veg, and my granddaughter's had Tacho something. Most definitely recommended.
Thank you staff at the Rose revived you made a real effort to make this family birthday outing memorable. Food was very good staff friendly and attentive. A very good experience.
We as a group have restaurants of our own , and every now and again wander out to see what the competition is up too and their performance. On Arrival we were greeted with smiles and a big welcome. We were quickly seated and drinks...ordered and arrived quickly the restaurant and garden busy) .The menu explained , specials informed , and wine pairing suggestions we were testing) . Our confidence grew . Food was ordered and I’ll forgive them it took a while, but definitely worth the wait. Amongst chatting within our group we were staff watching (always on the look out). The manager we assumed and we are being polite a bumbling stressed gentleman, who was all bluster, and lacked any finesse , We thought revived inns could do better , Our waitress an older pretty dark haired lady was excellent along with a youngster . It turns out and made sense she was the manager . She was calm genuine, caring and organised and had the Rose operation running like a well oiled machine . Desserts were delicious and overall we throughly enjoyed ourselves. We certainly will be back and have already made another reservation, If Revived are reading this , I may well be head hunting as you have some gems of staff here . And staff at the moment are key . Overall experience here and give us as a company they are serious competitors of us that I had previously overlooked. Well done Revived !
A beautiful garden to relax and enjoy a drink with friends , going to be honest , the lovely manager who managed a challenging family with an ambundance of children running riot in the garden disturbing others quiet enjoyment , well done we appreciated it...sending the children on a bug hunt was definitely a great distraction and stopped the ear piercing screaming. So thank you . The above in itself made us stay longer and delve into the menu and eat . The food was lovely, portions perfect so clean plates and room for dessert, win win for all . We will be back all in all staff attentive and knowledgeable, and obviously work as a tight team it was a fantastic experience and we recommend that you. Our first visit but certainly not our last .
We didn’t have a reservation, but were welcomed in and seated quickly, The carvery was inviting and fully stocked with plenty of choices . The puddings we were spoilt for choices , needless to say we rolled out very full and content . At the...time of visit The Rose was busy with the Nicky , Paula and Paul all working tirelessly with smiles and banter . Well done everyone it was warm and you all went above and beyond . See you soon
