Walked in there, while visiting from California, looking for an authentic east coast Italian deli experience and I was not disappointed! This place is amazing! Ordered an Italian sub made by Anthony and it was absolutely delicious! 10/10

This place is our destination for everything that is homemade. we moved from nyc and found scalas during the pandemic. they sell the head of boar, our favorite. now back to work the full time, I never have to worry about dinner. I'll be on my way home early, grab some fresh, warm and serve. no care. I even called before the time and asked to put something aside to grab me since they closed at 6. Mom and anthony are a great team. we love to support our neighbourship, small, family businesses.
