Barbarossa Coffee - Tomball

This place was amazing today. There were some noticeable changes that were really good since we were here last. The first thing you see when you walk in is an amazing display of desserts, sandwiches, cookies, cakes, etc. We were looking at the display, deciding what to try, and one of the owners behind the counter told us about two new cakes and if we wanted a sample. One was a coconut cake and another was a multilayer cake with honey. They were both amazing, but we choose the blueberry muffin and loaf. The coffee was perfect and the owner even made me a custom peach black iced tea with fresh mint leaves. I did get a chocolate croissant, lemon cake and cookie to go. Ate them at home and overall everything was amazing! Love the new changes, friendly staff, and quaint sitting area and we will definitely be back! Oh ya we got a kick out of all the people going thru the drive thru with their dogs and seeing the dogs eating their pup cups. Super cute.

I wish I could give zero star. Service was horrible. Took almost an hour for our food and drinks. They also, made a mistake on my drink. From hot she gave me cold and of course I took it back guess what, it took another 20 minutes to get my drink right. The food quality is worth 2 dollars not 9 bucks. My husband asked if they can refill his unsweetened tea they asked for another 5 dollars for a refill, ? so we left. My coffee tasted good though. Please do better because the ambience is nice but it’s nothing if the service is bad.

I'm still new to coffee and the excellent baristas at Barbarossa took the time to ask me questions and make a recommendation based on the info I provided. They made me feel comfortable and welcome. I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee (it is TRANSCENDENT! and my husband ordered an Iced Chai Latte (he loved it . I also snagged a 2.2 lb bag of the Anchor Blend for my at home coldbrew! I can't wait to come back and experience a new taste journey!

I was craving a good coffee with a good pastry. I googled coffee shops near me and this place caught my attention with the chocolate crossaint!! It was soo good and so worth the mini drive!! I've seen a few complain about pricing but to me the prices are very similar to big coffee shops that are on every corner but the quality of this place is unmatched. I swore off chain coffee stores because the last times I've gone, I spent too much on mediocre coffee. I don't mind spending on something that's worth it, and with the little I tried here, I will definitely be back! My kids enjoyed it. My husband did, too, and he's a tough man to please. lol. I'm excited to try more coffee options since today we stuck with something safe we knew we'd like but will be back to try other coffee options and, of course, more dessert!!Parking: Most coffee shops like this are in areas where either you pay to park or park far away and walk (heights or galleria area). I absolutely love the location it's very homey and a huge lot to park in.

So good! My husband and I came on a Monday morning to work while we were in the Houston area for a doctor’s appointment. We’re from Austin, and love our coffee, so we had high expectations. Barbarossa’s was legit! We stayed all morning and afternoon. Great coffee, great atmosphere, clean, quiet, fast Wifi, and tasty breakfast and lunch. ?
