This is quite refreshing compared to the tourist trap food sometimes found near historic areas.

We stopped here for lunch on a trip to Toledo. The waiter was very friendly and attentive and the 10 Euro 3 course meal including drinks seemed excellent value. When the food came, though, it was quite a disappointment. My daughter couldn't touch the meatballs she ordered and they didn't look very appetising. The chicken we had for main course was overcooked and chewy and came with a few dry chips and no salad or dressing. The desserts were little pots of mousse which can be picked up for next to nothing in any supermarket. The beer and wine were fine, but the only soft drink on the set menu was water. The waiter did somewhat redeem the experience, but I wouldn't recommend this place for the food.

We chose the lunch set menu for 10Euros each, my wife had a glass of wine and I enjoyed a beer, the 3 courses we ate were very delicious and great value as it included our beer and wine. We would highly recommend the restaurant when you visit Toledo. Great ambience and excellent service.
