What Bibiana Giuliani doesn't like about Il Fondaco:
Unique pub in the center of Todi, pleasant for an aperitif at sunset. Nice outside in summer, but the interior room is very sad and without identity, with an old unused counter that makes a lot of Shining hotels. It would be nice to use it differently, to dance in the evening, with DJ behind the counter. The aperitif cutting board, unfortunately, is very poor and of low quality, I often found mouldings of cous cous : View all feedback.
This restaurant/bar is an excellent place to get an inexpensive, tasty meal. It serves wonderful cappuccino and pastries at breakfast and has an extensive lunch and dinner menu. I’ve eaten most everything on the menu, and I have never experienced a bad meal. Most recently I had a local favorite called faraone alla leccarda. It was a guinea hen topped with a liver sauce that was absolutely out of this world. The thing I like best about this restaurant is the staff. They are friendly and helpful beyond belief. They bend over backwards to do what they can to make your experience a pleasant one. In my mind, this is a can’t miss restaurant if you visit Narni.
We had lunch here twice great , panini and coffee and really reasonable The tuna and artichoke was fantastic We also had aperitivo here , good beer , Prosecco , wine and little snacks , cured meats and cheese Once again well priced Everyone we met who worked there was friendly and coped with my poor Italian And as an extra bonus they have some great , rock, pop , indie music playing First day we went we had a taste of Australia with Nick Cave playing
We have visited most of the cafe/ bars in Todi and always gravitate to this delightful place. Lovely views all around, to enjoy a fabulous choice of specially blended teas, or great coffee. Beautifully served, with care and attention to detail. They also have aperitivi, wines, food etc. Great place for all seasons.
