This is the second time I eat in this place, summarizing the question: the most striking thing is the location (difficult to be wrong with a view like this) for the rest I found the pizza department under enough, the bruschettes eaten last night were practically uncut with a bread of days ago. Personally, it didn't impress me and I wouldn't come back. View all feedback.
Local friends took us here for apperativo and told us that once upon a time this has been a very good seafood restaurant. It must have been a real long time ago, because currently it lacks everything: service, food and coziness. The views are gorgeous, but they are not enough. It took 20 minutes for the first set of drinks for four to arrive (at 11 AM on a Sunday, when it was all empty, only one other table). The second set of drinks arrived HALF AN HOUR after ordering it and somebody had to get us and go look for them in order to obtain results. Skip it.
Popped here as we were staying a few doors away. We left rather disappointed with the food quality being mediocre. The menu overall is quite limited and the range of pastas offered included a dish with fish eggs, which may be more to local taste. Portion size was mean and the aroma rather strong. We wondered if the product was not at it's best. The ambience is a little lacking and as an indication, window boxes are full of dead plants which shows we felt the lack of customer care. Best eat elsewhere!
Just across the street from our B&B is this wonderful place, with amazing views of Rome by day and night. To go with the view is beautifully prepared and presented food, from appetizer through to sublime desserts. After big days out on the tourist trail in Rome, we ate here throughout our stay and the staff were always friendly and professional. They did their utmost to make sure that our lack of Italian did not hinder our enjoyment of the wide range of offerings on the menu and also made sure that the wines we had were excellent. This place is a must for any Tivoli visitor.
Very nice and welcoming place, spectacular view and delicious coffee (Illy). Paste, tranci of pizza and cakes arranged to art, and however delicious. I recommend it for a fast and good breakfast, the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful, even towards animals, which is not at all discounted. Recommended!
