The sign in front of the restaurant says buffet a la carte lunch, as shown on the attached photo, but only buffet was available. we didn't like to have an breakfast buffet, because we can't take spicy food and so limit the choices for...us so we had to go to cascade to eat at lunchtime. it turned out to be a good choice, please see my review of cascasde.

Chembian is a fantastic restaurant located in Sangam Hotel, a luxury hotel in Trichy. It is the perfect spot to celebrate any special occasion with your family. The decor is elegant, and the buffet offers a wide variety of salads, main courses, and desserts. The staff is extremely courteous and attentive. A highly recommended dining destination.

I have been to chembian quite a number of times. Thier north indian and south indian foods are good. But their I ternational cuisines, I won't recommend. The American chopsoeuy we had was good. Burgers and sandwiches are of okay taste. Otherwise you can go...for their south indian varieties. The mutton mulligatawny soup is highly recommended. Sometimes they have live Carnatic instrumental performance which is really soothing at the end of the day.
