Polish Bistro - Thunder Bay

The five of us all really enjoyed our meal. Best was the pork chop that was more like a schnitzel and the crepes. Would eat there again if back in Thunder Bay. Suggestion: check out the pictures of the food on the wall before ordering. It is not licensed.

I go here almost every week with my girlfriend. It's a small place, and it might not look like much, but the food is fantastic and the owner is very nice. Amazing borscht, cabbage rolls, and pierogi's, at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended! Note that they close at 7pm.

Stopped by there just before the dinner rush. Read the reviews and I was not disappointed. The lunch platter is a lot of food and it's all very well prepared. I especially liked that they used thin leaf cabbage for the cabbage rolls. Would definitely go again.

Great food and service. Large portions for good prices. The borsch and the cabbage rolls are amazing but I haven't had anything there that isn't fantastic. The server/owner is very friendly and attentive. My favourite dinner spot.

Our family of five visited for lunch during a day trip to Thunder Bay and everyone loved their food. That truly never ever happens for our picky eaters. Our fourteen year old daughter loved the borsht and her cheese and mushroom crepes. My husband and sons had Polish sausage with toast and salad and I ordered the lunch platter and shared pierogis and cabbage rolls with the boys. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the service very pleasant. Don't miss it-very special place.
