I had heard great things about this takeout restaurant, so I finally decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised as the food didn't just taste 'regular' - it was delicious, with fresh vegetables and great meat. Keep up the good work! View all feedback.
What D L doesn't like about Jacobs Deli:
this is a samll deli. It has a few tables, but mostly looks like a take-out joint. Family owned. Seems that the main ingredient in all dishes is the gravy, which i found a little too salty for my taste. Good friendly service. View all feedback.
Ordered the smoked meat sandwich and chicken soup. Probably the best chicken soup in Thornhill. Yummy sandwich. For the price could use a bit more meat... but if your looking for kosher in Toronto, this is the deli for you
Very tasty. Nice guys working the counter. Unfortunately only two tiny tables to sit so basically a takeout restaurant. Great burgers, steak sandwiches, and prime rib sandwiches. However far too expensive for what you get.
This place has an interesting menu and I will return to try one of the sandwiches. I bought the Matzo Ball Chicken Noodle soup to go and it was delish.
Our family wanted to pick-up food for dinner and decided to try Jacobs Deli. We had the smoked meat sandwiches and beef knish. For the price, you don’t get very much. The bread was thicker than the meat. The beef knish was good, but the smoked meat sandwiches were just ok. Very generic. They give you half pickles wrapped in a baggie, which leaked all over the bag. The food wasn’t terrible, but it isn’t somewhere we would eat again.
I went there for my first time today to have a hamburger, me and my husband. He's got the regular and I've got the portobello hamburger. So yummy!!!! The meat was well cooked and the combination of portobello mushroom with the avocado was perfect... i had never tried something like that so delicious. Strongly recommend and will be going frequently
