Chinese Dumpling House - Thornhill

This was a really good find for lunch everything was freshly made. I would say get there early for gets crowded quickly It was nice to see the dumplings being made. Kept granddaughter busy while food came out. Service very quick and good quality

Good value, steamed dumplings are decent tasty. Service is somewhat lacking, but am disappointed with how salty the food is. My tongue feels chaffed after the meal, which makes me wonder if they use a lot of MSG or salt.

I'm not sure what dishes were ordered since my parents made the choices. I just sat back and enjoyed the meal. The restaurant had a small space, but they made it cozy with marble tables and Chinese-style chairs. The walkway was a bit cramped, but they offered tea and a variety of sauces like vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil to suit your preferences.

To start, the homemade dumplings are excellent. Who can resist homemade dumplings? Additionally, they offer other menu items that are favorites such as braised eggplant, Chinese pancakes with meat, pork strips, and many more. And the best part is that it's affordable! This place is a must-visit.

When choosing a quick stop for lunch on weekends, half of the time I opt to re-visit an old favourite and the rest of the time I like to try some place new. Before heading out, The Hubby and I talk about what we’re craving that day and a quick Google search will narrow down our selection. This was how we ended up at Chinese Dumpling House one Saturday after running errands nearby.
