Thirroul Beach Pavilion

I made a reservation for 7 people but when we arrived, there were only 6 chairs at the table. We had to borrow an extra chair from another table, which then left that table short. I was a little disappointed because I had made the reservation almost 2 weeks in advance. However, the food was good.

I couldn't find any faults with the menu or drinks at this restaurant, but I thought the prices for burgers were a bit high. I went with my partner, who has gluten and other intolerances, and they were accommodating and not condescending about it. The only thing that bothered me was that the burgers were $18, and if you wanted fries, it was an extra $5, or $7 for chili salt. I can find better burger places that are cheaper.

After visting the webite and reading some glowing reviews I was under impression this was an upmarket cafe with table service so I booked for lunch. Its really more of a kiosk/takeaway food experience basic decor, you have to queue to order and...the food (burgers) were nothing special. The best part is the view.
