We discovered the 'express pizza ' during a recent visit to Sydney. We were staying at a nearby hotel and on nights when we didn 't feel like going out and wanted something casual, it was great to be able to go to Fratelli 's in Westfield 's. In...fact, we did it 3 times over a two week period. Build your own pizza for under $20 and it is done in less than 5 minutes. Friendly staff, quick service, good pizza. Who cou... View all feedback.
What Winfield Rodriguez doesn't like about Fratelli Famous:
Nicely appointed pizza bar/restaurant with great exposed kitchen, make bench and pizza oven. BUT WHERE ARE THE TOPPINGS...? I'd expect to ask this question if purchasing from one of the franchised pizza chains, not a Pizza bar that should be more gourmet. View all feedback.
We were a few years ago and were impressed, this trip is another story. the pizza was worse than a $5 dominoes pizza. the crust was dry, burned and heavy. totally disappointed we will not be back and do not recommend this place!
A large and well-equipped restaurant offers a large selection of carvings and other Bavarian tastyries, along with its own salad and wood fire pizza bar. it has a very bar/pub atmosphere, with tvs running events and many Bavarian...By tap. the food was delicious, the service was good, although given the size and how busy it was, it would be good if they offered the ordering of table service instead of ordering the bar.
Not only the food we ordered wrong, but also soggy and clear were not used fresh ingredients. they substituted ingredients and the pizza we received was nothing like the one we ordered. the service was also quite bad.
First, the service was disappointing. the girl who worked on herself was not friendly and we felt as if we were an inconvenience, even though there was no one there. she threw our pizza together and it was really nice so that it was good. but the place was not clean, tables were dirty and so was cute. no more pleasant visit and would not recommend it.
The service and the food is dreadful. This was our second attempt to go here-we gave them the benefit of the doubt, before Christmas we came here left after waiting for 15 minutes-while TWO people were ahead of us in the queue there...were about 4 ppl in the rest of the restaurant-we learnt today this was a lucky escape. 4 of us meet for work lunch-we decide on salads-the server says there is no iceberg or butter lettuce, only rocket baby spinach. We go ok and order our various salads. Ask if we can sit outside-oh you can but you 'll need to come in every 5 minutes to remind me of your order, hmmmm-ever heard of those little numbers every other establishment uses? Two of our orders come, oh there is no avocado and no artichokes, we are waiting for an order to come in. -Hello ?, why not tell us that ask if we want something else-that 's normal standard service. When the other two salads come, they too are missing a number of ingredients over and above the disclosed avocado. By this time we don 't really have time in a work lunch break to tell them this is substandard we want a refund, so we start on the meals. They were dreadful-the dressing tasted like an artificial lemon juice (artificial but highly acidic) had just been poured over the baby spinach and chicken. My friend had paid an additional $2 for avocado that wasn 't on the plate and had to ask for her money back (we all felt we 'd paid way too much for inedible meals anyway). I have never had a worse salad-Subway salads, Woolies prepared salads are absolute gourmet by comparison.
