We've been here a few times now, and we love coming back each time. It's become a bit of a habit to try the menu items on the specials board, and tonight was no exception. We enjoyed the Pork Belly pizza with black olives, onion...and BBQ sauce. Absolutely delicious! Also had the Beetroot saład which was really nice and fresh. Our friends tried the La Grande pizza board which is a long pizza with lots of slices. Whil... View all feedback.
What Keven Dach doesn't like about Bar 100:
Went for dinner and the food was atrocious. Had thr Seafood Share plate, and it was way overcooked, and seemed like it had been standing under heat lamps or something like that. The barramundi had turned to the consistency of lumpy mashed potato, and the prawns, all three of them, had been butterflied and grilled, but were so dried out that they were sticking to the shells. The four scallops, and they were not even T... View all feedback.
Food was excellent no garlic bread as advertised and update the wine list as Shiraz on list was not available unless you were willing to pay $50 dollars, apart from that service was excellent decor was fantastic apart from that a very enjoyable meal a great place to eat
Don't order a pizza each...I'm warning you!! The pizza's are massive and pilled high with yummy stuff, enough for 4 people. The service is quick and the staff friendly. Well worth the $'s and well worth the walk.
Very delicious food, hot and fresh, we did not wait long on the food, the staff quickly and politely
We left bar100 satisfied having been there twice with friends for after work drinks. From hostess to the bar staff to the waiter, everyone is friendly and has a smile for you. The daily offers are great which include a main meal and a drink. Even though the portion size is smaller, the taste is still good and food enjoyable. Live music was nice, but a little bit too loud when you sit inside. If weather is good, sitting on the terrace is the better option anyway. Good place to sit back and enjoy a couple of drinks. Have a go!
We ate here on Easter Saturday as part of a weekend away in the city. The location was handy and the opportunity to sit outside on the terrace drew us to the place. We ordered a glass of wine and a cider and were charged $17.00 for that privilege and put it down to city prices. We ordered a share platter entrée and two main meals of chicken and a prawn pasta. We were shocked to have all the food arrive at the same time and when we started to complain the food was just left there and the waitress walked away.A second waiter/ floor walker then asked how my pasta was and when I started to tell him that it was cold and all the food was delivered at the same time he just smiled and said "Well I'll leave you to it then." Had I had the chance I would have made the point that the food was cold and the timing of delivery was terrible.Unfortunately we had already paid for the meals at the time of ordering (including a surcharge for it being a public holiday....which it wasn't) or we may have got a more pleasant outcome. We can't change what happened to us and we won't be back, but we can write this and I hope this it provides a timely warning to others.
