Met a friend who was on their way from Austin to New Orleans so chose a spot recommended by a friend that was close to I 10 and had reportedly good coffee. Ordered a cappuccino, then later an espresso and it was so good I left there with a bag of their espresso beans. What WarrenG doesn't like about Catalina Coffee:
I was expecting a better setup (similar to Starbucks) but it was pretty basic. Seats were not as comfortable as I would have hoped but the service was great despite the trimmed down menu. View all feedback.
Service was not good. Girl at the counter seemed annoyed at me asking about syrups. Pastries are not warm? No one acknowledges you when you walk in? Very odd experience. Coffee is just okay. Prices are decent, and location is a plus. Service is enough for me to not come back though.
It seems like nice place but the iced lattes dont taste good, especially compared to other coffee shops.
The coffee is amazing and it's only matched by the absolutely epic car show every sunday!
No wifi or power outlets. Ordered my flat white to be consumed there, but came in paper cup. The drink didn't have enough coffee flavor/ strength.
Good coffee but no wifi. I came to work for an hour from home and I was bummed. now I have to go back home to do my work
