Baldwin Saloon. - The Dalles

Oh, so delicious and over the top on the price, but it's worth it. Service was great. I had crispy chicken fatuccine the fatuccine was crowned in a bee-hive form 2 good size crispy chicken breast with a mild sauce on the side of the pasta. The salad was a lot could not eat it all called Baldwin salad. In fact, I brought a breast and fatuccine large left for the next meal. The dinner also has a homemade hot from the oven roll. You could smell it to you, my friend is a critic of food for years that she loves the Baldwin Saloon in The Dalles, Oregon. But this time her Prime Rib 14oz was slightly different, she gave her food a 4.9. Instead of a 5.0, because of the rib. She found out there was no marinated Worshire sauce on it. The prime ribs come only 14oz. She had a Lemon Drop Drink, I had a Bee kid Shirley Temple. Tasted like Lemonade with honey oh so gooood.. Had 2. Dessert I took home Lemon Cheesecake had the next day, enough for 2 to share with much left over. Of course, my pennies will be back on a Saturday night after 5p for our favorite meals. Baldwin Saloon is absolutely beautiful. Great food and beautiful atmosphere. sitting outside was perfect. The fried oysters are delicious. The mango cocktail is very beautiful. Your table bread is slightly fluffy bread balls. The desserts were also delicious.

Elegant food without the elegant price. Beautiful historic building in downtown Dalles, excellent service and very creative, unique food. Currently they will be a reduced menu through heat and older kitchen, but back to full amazing menu on 28. Juli. We will definitely recommend again and very much. I don't think you can make a bad choice with something on this menu. Obviously, the cook puts heart and soul in these dishes with a team that really supports him. Well done.

Where to begin... this place is the BEST! Food and drinks are amazing, staff is wonderful, atmosphere is great. Clean, nice restaurant. This is always our first choice for date nights! I recommend it to everyone. Just a few photos of the food we enjoyed.

We came in the middle of a long road trip. We were exhausted with asking folks to wear masks around us and not looking forward to asking another person to cover their nose. Not only did the staff at the Baldwin wear their masks properly but also served us the best meal eaten on this trip. Not a word about staffing shortages or supply issues…we were fed from a customized, changing menu and everything was superb. We had two appetizers, entrees were the salmon, duck, and milk glazed pork and polenta. Two cocktails, the Shrute and wild horses and two desserts, gingerbread creme brûlée and the walnut tart finished our meal. It was all excellent. We will dine here again next time we trod this path.
