Hudson Smokehouse - The Bronx

I wish I could give more stars. This restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the Bronx. It never disappoints, providing a top-notch experience every time I dine there. I usually order delivery when I'm working in the Bruckner area, but I recently had the opportunity to dine in and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and organized it was. The staff is excellent, attentive, and efficient in getting orders out. They clearly hire quality employees who uphold high standards. Keep up the great work!

I highly recommend Hudson Smokehouse as they never disappoint. The ribs are succulent and perfectly smoked every time, while the collard greens and banana pudding are also amazing.

Burnt ends!!! One taste of this delectable meat and you will be addicted!! I'm heading to Texas soon and have been doing a lot of BBQ research, but I haven't found any other places with burnt ends. Kudos to the Owner and staff for consistently serving up high-quality BBQ. A tip: order a bun on the side (it's incredibly soft), place a few pieces of burnt ends in it, add coleslaw, and drizzle BBQ sauce over it all - one bite and you'll be hooked just like me!! Oh, and they also have the coldest IPA to wash it all down.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. If you order through the TooGoodToGo app, be prepared to encounter rude employees who seem to think you are asking for free food. They may not trust you even if you have already paid for and arranged to pick up your order on the app. The staff does not seem happy to be there and the atmosphere is unwelcoming. In addition, the portions are small and the food quality is lacking. The cornbread was dry and had egg shells, and the pulled pork did not taste right. The sauce was unpleasant. The restaurant comes across as pretentious and snobbish. It is important to remember that we are in the Bronx and treating Bronx residents with respect is essential for success in this area.

Hudson Smokehouse demonstrates their commitment to the community by actively combatting food waste. Rather than discarding perfectly good food at the end of the day, they offer it to local residents at a very reasonable price. We appreciate Hudson Smokehouse for fostering a sustainable community.
