Overall, Baba Kebab remains a mixed bag.
I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed the food. However, today they made a mistake with my order that I had placed over the phone. They refused to replace the items that were sent to me incorrectly, instead of the ones I had requested. Fortunately, my pets enjoyed the meal but I am disappointed with the service this time. In the past, any issues I had were promptly resolved with great service. It seems like there may be different employees or a new management team at the store.
We ordered the tray of mixed meat and salad for 2 adult and 2 children. The meat was fresh juciey and cooked to perfection the staff was friendly the shop was clean and the atmosphere was great. 10/10 would highly recommend
Myself my partner have been ordering from Baba Kebab for the best part of 15 years. Other than the odd bit of overcooked lamb, we 've had nothing to complain about . Up until tonight. We ordered our usual kebabs, a mixed shish with all salad and a large chicken shish with lettuce and a portion of chips. Delivery took a little longer as usual but we understood the pressure such businesses are in at the moment and so it didn 't phase us. The kebabs were delivered and the chicken shish was covered in coleslaw, instead of lettuce. We phoned Baba and asked for a replacement and after been passed from pillar to post we 'd been told a replacement would be sent out. 'Great! ' we said, asked if we could have a replacement chips as by the time the new kebab would be delivered, they 'd be cold. We simply got a 'eat your chips without the kebab '. Wow. Just wow! We held out a little hope that upon delivery they 'd be some chips, but no. So for not replacing a portion of chips as a goodwill gesture for your **** up, after years of loyal service we now won 't be returning. What 's a portion of chips in the grand scheme of things? Maybe in future you 'll think twice.
Last few times ordered mixed kebab, order being no coslaw no lettuce 3 x now turns up with white onion and tomatoes I stated tonight when ordering any shortages was told no cucumber I thought great as I like cabbage and explained then when turned up same onions and tomatoes when I phoned to complain he stated I pay for the meat not the salad leave it with you
Love the kebabs here. its hard to find a good kebab these days but Babas are spot on everytime. Always fresh and not greasy.
