Alter Zoll - Teufen (AR)

Echte traditionelle italienische Küche. Sehr leckeres und frisches Essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Ich werde aufjedenfall öfters kommen.

Interessant, wie die Bewertungen stark schwanken, ich hatte wohl bisher immer Glück, wurde schnell bedient und die Qualität des Essens war einwandfrei. Heute mal Pizzen zum Mitnehmen bestellt, waren rasch fertig und sehr lecker. Persönlicher Favorit ist die Pizza „Shu Shu“ mit Mascarpone. Was mir bei der Pizza im Alten Zoll besonders gefällt: der Boden ist dünn, der Rand knusprig und der Belag reichlich.

Four of us were traveling together on an Aviation related visit to Switzerland. On evening while there we met up with a Gentleman and his who who own a collection of vintage aircraft.It was suggested that we meet at at Restaurant Alter Zoll, in Teufen, Switzerland. A reat choice by the lady and gentleman we were to meet, a warm and friendly greeting at the door by the staff and quickly assigned seating. Our guests joined us after a few minutes; a good variety on the Menu comprising many variations of Italian Pizza and other Italian dishes. The beer so I'm lead to believe was a local brew and seemed to go down well amongst those that consumed it (I'm tee total)There was little to no delay in taking our orders, only a short wait until the main meals were served and then no rushing you to finish the meal to seat others. All in all a very pleasant evening in great company and surroundings.The total for the bill a the end of the evening for six adult meals, seven beers, 2 colas, a mineral water and coffee came in a 138€40 (approx £130.00 GBP) When I am next in Tuefen I will be sure to revisit this restaurant
