The historic restaurant is located along the ss148 off the ground. enjoys ample parking . although it is not on the sea enjoys a rich indoor vegetation that makes it unique and charming. the location is great, perfect for ceremonies of all kinds but at the same time can offer tables for more intimate moments. the management has always been familiar and the kitchen continually offers new dishes without ever forgetting the always fresh fish. all staff is kind and helpful. average high cost but the quality you pay.
The new location of the place on the Via Pontina, previously in a pio village from which the name derives, now with large parking and surrounded by greenery, offers undoubtedly greater possibilities to its customers. In fact, the day of the visit happened to attend the preparations for an event to be held, from there to little, in the green garden. the owner welcomes us with doing professional, but friendly and helpful gives us advice while collecting our order. let’s take a last look at the full menu and at the prices and take advantage to admire the room that consists of a unique environment with large windows that illuminate it with natural light. on one side a bar corner and a mezzanine to which you access through a staircase drawn with goto also there is a large outdoor porch to be able to use in various ways. after a completely acceptable wait arrive the first dishes: spaghetti with fresh anchovies capers and salty ricotta; a dish with a decided goto frameable in the tradition of southern Italy where there is still today the way to mix flavors of land with flavors of sea (aquacy stuffed with clento, mussels filled with puglia and many other recipes of Sicilian and Calabria). The other first dish: linguine with pink shrimp a nice proposal to enhance this crustacean fished locally. The recommended combination, with dry ground moscato is perfect. the second: saberfish to the Italian olives and fresh cherry, delicate dish, fine, with almost imperceptible spices. another second: fried squid and pink shrimp, at all a crispy, but soft inside. we ask for a coffee and the result account with a satisfactory balance quality price. for us restaurant garden of the meson is promoted to full votes and we highly recommend it especially to lovers of well valued local fishery.

We wait to see it in summer, but a little maintenance even winter would not be bad.
Known by chance on holiday, the owners immediately distinguished themselves as special people and goto, free to try their wonderful restaurant would be pure blasphemy. the location at the door of the ground but outside the chaos is a villa and the restaurant is located between the living room with fireplace, the veranda and the garden where there is also a room for events. the environment is familiar as management but with style, the garden reminding Japanese is a zen oasis to all effects. excellent choice of wines and bubbles, essential but for all goi. the menu offers flavors of the territory and not but with an innovative touch perfectly balanced, the freshness of the fish can meet a delicately spicy humo and is immediately poetry. the first, never trivial, with gragnano pasta are absolutely to try. worthy of note are certainly anchovies in any way they order and also homemade desserts.
