Good food at reasonable and affordable prices --- I love the Malunggay coffee and butterscotch (hot and cold) drinks. They have large portions for their delicious pasta and rice dishes. Their cakes are a bit expensive though. :(
Good place to find a quiet place to hang out with friends or relatives. I recommend afternoons or evenings when you want to sit on the tables outside (there is limited seating inside) and a... View all feedback.
What Kenya Von doesn't like about Roots and Herbs Coffee:
Well we've been here around 7am in the morning after the mass in Antipolo Our Lady of Peace and Voyage. The ambiance is good. Food is quiet disappointing though I enjoy the pasta and frappe (vanilla and cream flavor) only the served rice meal, we order teriyaki beef with egg and rice combo meal. Ofcourse we are so excited to taste their food since this is our first time been here, we waited for about 15 minutes. And... View all feedback.
The homely and cozy atmosphere makes Roots And Herbs our contact point during our studies. The cold breeze in Antipolo from December to February makes you want the infamous Malunggay coffee.
Excellent food with a homely atmosphere. We ordered chicken pesto, veggie cream sandwich, seafood noodles, and a Malunggay iced coffee. Both noodles tasted good, with each ingredient complementing each other. Pesto sauce is one of the best I've tried on this side of the metro. Its green color is very vibrant, but it tasted just right. What is very surprising is the portion for the reason that it can be shared by a couple. With a price tag of just over 100 pesos, it really is bang for your buck. The cream and vegetable sandwich was very light and quite good at the same time. Served with a wheat bread you can tell that the vegetables are fresh and very tasty due to their crispness. The frozen Malunggay coffee was very interesting. At first I thought it was made from Maluggay, which involves a delicate and very complicated process. Then I found out that it was just plain brewed coffee with some Malunggay pieces. Anyway, it still tasted good. In summary, the food is something you will come back to, the ambiance is very soothing, and the price is definitely a standstill. Not only do you expect something out of the ordinary about their coffees, but it's well worth a try.

I tried their rice bowls yesterday which have a huge amount of rice in them. Coming back for the creamed dory fish fillet, pork and mushroom, tried the other 2 too but was not satisfied. Too salty for me, maybe because of the oyster sauce or because it wasn't really balanced with the supposed sweetness of the teriyaki sauce. Thumbs down for their hot chocolate, which looks like a box of Milo chocolate drink mixed with lots of sugar. Customer service was excellent even when we were late. ????
I love everything about this place. It's so cozy and very quiet. The food was so good and very affordable. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo, Aglio Olio and the Malungay Frappe, they were all outstanding!
