This is hands down the most delicious and authentic New Orleans style restaurant in the area. When it comes to the quality of the food, nothing is spared or sacrificed. The music is spot on, and everyone who tries the food has a smile on their face. View all feedback.

Oh my gosh! Where to begin!? I don't usually eat cajun or southern food, so I was a little hesitant, but my boyfriend insisted that I try the food here. I was very impressed by this unassuming restaurant. I tried the Red Beans and Rice, Chicken and Sausage gumbo, Jambalaya, cole slaw, and a very intricate potato salad. (I shared . To begin, I have always disliked potato salad and cole slaw, no matter where I've had them. Not only was this the best of both that I've tried, but I thoroughly enjoyed them and ate more than my share. I'm not a big fan of mayo, and it didn't overwhelm these two sides. The recipes are unique and the flavors blend very well together. The gumbo was just the right consistency and flavor, and she is very generous with her meat. The red beans and rice had a rich smoky flavor, but again it didn't overwhelm the whole dish. And the Jambalaya was decent and well-seasoned. I also really liked the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. There is jazz/cajun music in the background playing, which also added a nice touch. I'm looking forward to coming back. I would recommend bringing cash (although there is an ATM on site.
Best Po-Boys in town!
