The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen - Tempe

Stopped in today for a late afternoon bite. The food and drink were excellent and the service exceptional. Outdoor seating was comfortable and cozy. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great place for unique and and tasty cocktails, fantastic whiskey and bourbon selection, good looking cal beer selection on tap and tasty food. They have an amazing outdoor space, with a full bar and plenty of seating. They were understaffed when we were there, as many places are right now, but with a little patience we enjoyed hanging out there and appreciated how hard their staff was working. A shout out to our bartender, Kamila, who was working just her fourth shift and rocked it out. Oh yes, they have a #MilitaryDiscount

Where to start. Dog Friendly Check Great Stafff Check Cool Atmosphere Check Good Food Check Possibly the best fried pickles in the Valley CHECK! This place is awesome. The staff brought me and my Shepherd right in and made sure to give him lots of love. It was hit and our server immediately brought out a bowl of water for our pup. That is so important for restaurants that say they are dog friendly. Some say they are but fall short, this place definitely doesn't. The Cuban sandwich and salad that we had were both great and came out with a nice presentation. Now let's talk about those fried pickles.... So many places get it wrong, to much batter, not enough, over fried, soggy, so many things can go wrong. Then you have The Lodges fried pickles, and it makes you ask yourself, why do I get these anywhere else?! They are absolutely amazing!!!! Cooked and seasoned perfectly! So if your out in Tempe done forget to put this place on your list of places to try. You won't be disappointed.

This was a great place to bring out-of-town guests. We love the log cabin atmosphere! If you want to have a conversation with your friends, plan on going earlier in the afternoon rather than the evening, the later it got the louder it got! We arrived at 6:30 and left by 8pm. It's located close to the Tempe Town Lake, another beautiful place to take guests from out-of-town.

I went with the Triple D based on appeal and hyped by the staff. It's a good burger it just didn't live up to the hype nor the cost at $18. Did the Apple Coleslaw as it was also recommended as Fire. It was good but not great. 4 stars because the staff, vibe and atmosphere make it a fun place. It's a great place to watch a game or pregame before ASU football for sure.
