What Centipede100 doesn't like about Primrose Tea Rooms:
The garden is delightful and food is good, but you are only offered a takeaway menu in the garden with limited choice. It comes in brown cardboard packaging and paper cups. You are given a buzzer and have to fetch it yourself. This experience doesn't match the delightful setting. View all feedback. What User likes about Primrose Tea Rooms:
A lovely tea room with a gorgeous terrace garden! We sampled the salmon sandwich and the ham sandwich, both of which were delicious. It was a nice touch that we could choose the type of bread. We also indulged in chocolate brownies with caramel sauce, some of the best we've ever had. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return when we are back in town. Primrose Tea Rooms in Lustleigh offers a stunning garden setting but disappoints with a limited takeaway menu served in paper packaging. Despite the beautiful surroundings, the staff can be off-putting and the service lacking. On the bright side, the food is delicious and offers a variety of options. Visitors can enjoy sandwiches, scones, and cakes, all served by friendly and accommodating staff. The atmosphere is described as lovely and the value for money is considered fair. Overall, Primrose offers a mix of experiences but is definitely worth a visit when in the area.
