I rarely hold to The Goat Saloon, usually it is a good experience. This last visit was very pleasant. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The service was very attentive. I haven't had a club sandwich for years and chose one, it was excellent. I was surprised by the frits, I love good frits, perfectly cooked beautiful and crispy. What Darron Morris doesn't like about The Goat:
My bottled beer that I ordered was a month past the expiration date. The establishment was out of chicken and cheese curds. I ordered the street tacos and they were terrible. The tacos were half the size i expected then to be and the pork was tough toeat. My girlfriend ordered the double D burger. Her burger was mediocre and the onion rings on top were cold. We are here on vacation from Wisconsin to see the Interstate Parks and fall leaves. We stayed at the Wannigan Cabins down the road. After the boat tour it was pouring hail and rain and we made our way to The Goat. It was packed with others trying to stay dry. The ONE AND ONLY bartender and cook was spot on making sure EVERYONE got their drinks and food. She was amazing. There wasn't a long wait at all, she just kept making everyone happy. Our burgers and fries were FABULOUS! We left in a wonderful food coma. We sadly didn't catch her name but we left her a big tip for all her hardwork! Thank you so much for an amazing end of our trip!
Great dive bar. Wonderful hamburger and more than I could eat piping hot. Definatly be going back

The cook Pedro is notch. So the bar is tender. Clean and fast. No beer on Hahn.
Some of my friends stopped for dinner after visiting local wineries. The staff was so friendly and funny. Burgers and Fritten meet in every case on the square and were very delicious! Would go back!
