Local friends took us to Lady Rae's for lunch. The cafe has wonderful old world country charm and the food was fabulous. It was very busy and we were lucky to get a table. Lady Rae was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed mixing with locals and visitors alike. View all feedback.
What Ila Roberts doesn't like about Lady Rae's Cafe:
On a recent road trip, travelling through the town of Taralga, we stopped off for a coffee and raisin toast at Lady Rae's Café. This coffee shop also sells various bric-a-brac and antique furniture pieces. On the day we were there, it was cosy and warm with a fire going. We would revisit if in the area again. We went to Lady Rae's on the busy June weekend. It was very popular and very busy. despite that we had a relatively short wait. Not that it mattered as we managed to get a table on the street in the sun and could watch the world go by. The food was plentiful and very tasty. I had a BLT with avocado and my husband had the steak sandwich with the lot. I would go the steak sandwich next time, not that the BLT wasn't good. The chocolate milkshake was yummy. Great service by friendly staff.
The steak sandwich and BLT at this restaurant are fantastic, made with fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Much better than any fast food joint. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend stopping here.
We enjoyed a tasty steak sandwich on Turkish bread at this restaurant. The sandwich was huge, fresh, and great value. They also had amazing homemade cakes, slices, and delicious coffee. A fantastic spot to stop by, close to Goulburn. Despite being busy, our food arrived within 10 minutes. The owner, who is also the chef, clearly takes pride in their work. The charming old weatherboard building offers indoor and outdoor seating options.
I don't frequently visit Taralga, but during a recent trip, I am glad I decided to dine at this cafe. The food was superb and there was a generous portion size. My hamburger was served with delicious sides and filled the plate completely. The cafe offers outdoor seating and the service was excellent.
