intimidating staff. a special waitress who has brought us the wrong order, and when courteously corrected, we have taken that food. Eating was good and fresh we had to wait a little for the desert, so we decided not to take any. little more organization would make the place better. reliable between kitchen and service
Beautiful view of well protected terrace overlooking the lac de Saint-Cassien. good mix of eating for a family dinner. excellent fried king prawn and salate. service w friendly and understanding our poor French. we all enjoyed relaxed lunch with ice cream. sundae’s and coffee. the lake has many good sunbathing and bad places. many water sports for the whole family
We called here for lunch on our way back to the airport. The food was excellent! The salad nicoise one of the best I have eaten. The restaurant was busy but the staff attentive and helpful. Fabulous views of the lac de st Cassien perfect!
Visited le Lac restaurant with 2 teenage kids this week. Were looking for somewhere to have lunch and pulled into a very uninspiring parking and really wasn't expecting very much but was proved wrong after entering the restaurant. Of course the setting is beautiful looking...over the lake. The service was efficient, friendly and professional. The staff are far removed from those who have perfected the art of looking busy when they are not and moved around the restaurant as a team making sure everyone was served. The food was excellent also, and reasonably priced too (we'd paid the same price for a meal a few days ago that was 25% of the quality). Am visiting the area so hope to go back if we have time. Definitely worth a visit.
I was out cycling and stumbled across Le Lac Restaurant. I don't speak French but the girl serving and the manager spoke enough English to make me feel welcome. The pizza was beautiful plus a cold non alcoholic beer, so I was very happy. The...service was nice and food delivered quickly. A pleasent stop on any cycle, location and facilities were super, if you're passing do pop in.
