Applebee's Grill - Tallahassee

The only reason the review is this high is because the food wasn?t bad. The service, if you can call it that, was horrendous!!! Sat at the bar? 5 minutes later? bartender was busy goofing off with other staff members?finally looked up and took our drink order. We ordered a beer and margarita. Didn?t get offered our size of beer? she just assumed we wanted the ?two for one?. The margarita tasted like it had been poured by a 2 yr old. Wait!!! It gets better! The bartender then proceeds to go across the room to rub and touch on one of her coworkers, while myself and 2 other tables are waiting for service. She finally comes over to take our food order, with an attitude like we were bothering her!! We definitely won?t be back and will recommend that anyone we know bypass this place. #poormanagement

That was the worst place I've ever visited. the waitress was terrifying, eating tasted as if it came out of a mud can. the only good thing was the beer.

My steak was over cooked, dry tough. Now my potato green beans were rather good but the steak was so bad, I couldn't really eat. Not to forget it took a LONG time to receive our orders (my daughter loved her nachos passion fruit lemonade), my unfortunate meal was at the heart of a dreadful dining experience. Oh ok I almost forgot to mention the DREADFUL server assigned to us. She couldn't have cared less about our experience. When I tried to explain my problem, she spent time blaming me for not ordering correctly, then just walked away. While I was preparing to give her a 42¢ tip, the manager stopped by offered to remove it from there bill. So, she got NO tip. He's the only reason I gave this joint 2 stars. I'm never going back mercifully in I don't have to.

The food was great. The wait staff was not.....I am reasonable these days about wait staff because every place is understaffed. However, when the waitress brings my order of appetizers, but doesn 't come back, but instead, walks through the restaurant and flirts with the guy and talks to the lady at the bar and doesn 't bother to come back to my table... : It 's a problem. Then, when I finally did have to flag her down to order....and she says "I was waiting on y 'all to let me know... .????last time I checked, waitress was supposed to come and check on me, rather than me having to look for her. I 'm not the kind to ever not leave any kind of tip at all, even when I have bad service. I came awfully close not leaving any tip. It 's a good thing I didn 't pay the bill. That was unacceptable. It wasn 't like she was racing around here waiting on 50 or a hundred people because there is less than 25 of us in the restaurant

Dirty. Terrible service. We have to wait 35 minutes for appetizers in a 30% occupancy restaurant. 15 minutes wait to get charge. Floors and everything Dirty. We were given plastic silverware because the dishwasher was on break. If it wasn't because we know this brand I would never step on a Applebee's again. Management needs to act soon.
