Saffron Fine Indian Cuisine - Taipei

We ordered Masala Chai, but the quantity that they give 2 people can drink. Liked the Samosa but the chutney quantity that they give is just enough. My favourite was Saag and I loved it, their Tawa roti was amazing.

Excellent food quality. Taste was very authentic. Good ambience. Very friendly staff. Paneer and Dal gravies were good. Kulfi was delicious. Food quantity seemed a bit less. Overall, it was good experience and tasty food. Tried it again with kids and still good. Butter chicken was tasty. Kids loved kulfi

Nicely decorated, bright, comfortable restaurant, not very large. Two chefs were in this tiny enclosed space in the corner, with oven, busy baking and grilling meats (tough jobs! . Ordered grilled fish and lamb. Lamb was kind of tough to chew, but the fish was really good. The mushrooms and chicken in curry both were also excellent flavored and chicken was tender. The freshly baked bread went well with the dishes. Service was good.

The staff were friendly and competent. The food was delicious. The prices were acceptable for the culinary experience. This special Saffron restaurant does not have a high minimum expense that the restaurant Saffron 46, based in Xinyi, imposes on customers. This restaurant offers several vegetarian Indian curries, and the tastes of these dishes were fabulous and differ slightly from other Indian restaurants in Taipei. The naan was chewing and tasty, and it was a good combination with the curry. This restaurant is very popular so a reservation in advance is crucial to get a table.
