Alright, so, this may be a humble establishment but I am confident that diners will appreciate the seafood here more than at most upscale restaurants. That being said, I cannot personally vouch for it. View all feedback.
What Mckayla Kuvalis doesn't like about Bag o Shrimps:
The good: shrimps truly live up to the restaurant's name and are the saving grace. The crabs served during our visit was like eating off a cadaver. Flesh was disintegrating inside the claws. One would assume that the cook or chef would have a good...idea of how fresh crabs should be served instead of trying to pass off days old crabs for the sake of profit. My family and I dined at this restaurant. It occupies the entire second floor. The food was great, although it could have been a bit cheaper. The service was attentive, but the atmosphere could be improved. I would have given them 5 stars if they had allowed us to use the second floor immediately. I went first and was told it was reserved, but when I returned an hour later with my family, they suddenly let us dine there. Perhaps they were just busy and allowed us to use it right away. It seemed like the staff may not have wanted to clean the second floor or go back and forth. Regardless, everything went smoothly after a small hiccup.
Some items on the menu were unavailable. The service was not satisfactory, as the staff was inattentive to customer needs and appeared distracted by other tasks. The service was also slow.
We Frequent this branch in Mckinley when ever our budget would allow Us Now For the Pros customer service ambiance waiting time Food choices parking availability Superb Shrimps .Cons X dining space is a bit small Their shrimps is...our favorite here! We ventured with their other options but we turned all of those back. Though commendable but their shrimos is to die for. Mix the bag of shrimps with either corn, mussels or sausage! Yum! The best part. You eat with your hands!
Hands down Best onion rings I've ever had. Oh yeah the shrimp was just good enough, its the cajun style flavors that should bring you here. Always get the medium spicy cajun mix with corn and sausage. Guaranteed to have you asking for another cup...of rice.
