In general, I prefer beef ribs over pork because I've always found pork ribs to be dry and flavorless. I discovered this new bbq place in the neighborhood and I was really in the mood for bbq. We stopped and ate here and I ordered the pork ribs with a baked potato salad and bbq baked beans. Omg, these were the best pork ribs I have ever eaten! What Penni Defrin doesn't like about My 4 Sons Bbq:
I was really disappointed the brisket burnt tips was tough and chewy and just tasted like it had sauce slathered on it. The beans weren't cooked all the way through. Also, the customer behind us was fortunate to get a suggestion of ordering a plate that included 2 sides, and it would cost less. I thought they should do that for all customers. View all feedback.
As someone who has lived all over the country and tried many different types of BBQ I can say with certainty that My 4 Sons is delicious. Like many other of the reviewers, I have waited with anticipation to try this place. I purchased the Ribs and Brisket. The top plate of the brisket was just as one would expect, A nice crust and fatty texture that melts in your mouth and is flavorful. The bottom plate was lean, tender and mildly smoky. The ribs were amazing, very tender and flavorful. The meat was amazing, but what honestly took me by surprise was the sauce! The sauce has the sweetness of KC barbecue, and the boldness of Texas. It is a bit of a fusion. I honestly believe this sauce to be the best I have ever had!

I stopped in for lunch on opening day....had the brisket plate, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. I was so full it was ridiculous the food is awesome, and so is the staff! #welcometotheneighborhood
If you ask for a list of ingredients for any of the food here, you won't find love or passion on the list, but those are the main two ingredients here. The owner has taken his passion and found a way to share it with the rest of the world, one butcher paper lined tray at a time. The brisket is divine. The chicken and pork are following right behind. Don't forget the amazing sides. One more thing, they cater, too!
Hubby and I went in today to check it out for the first time as it is only a few minute drive away. We were very pleased with the food and prices. One of the best brisket he has had! Took some ribs home to go and can't wait to try them. Definitely worth the visit! Thank you!! :
