Would have liked to know there was a drive through. My mother is handicapped and it would have been so much easier. The food and staff where fantastic. If I'm in the area I will definitely visit them again View all feedback.
What Joey Nichols doesn't like about Ivar's Seafood:
My wife ordered a Bowl of Clam Chowder from there through the drive thru, when we got home the Chowder was cold, goopy, grainy and separated. It's almost like they reheated it from the night before or it has been sitting in the Double boiler hot hold (steam table) all day View all feedback.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent clam chowder in bread bowl and Caesar salad. Outdoor seating too.
Nothing appetizing about finding out mid bite that the shrimp aren’t deveined.
Hit chowder, fresh fish. Bring back the sweet tartar please.
Clam chowder is awesome and seafood tastes good. What's best are the people working the counter. They smile, treat you nice and friendly. Highly recommended.
I've eaten at this Ivar's many times and the food and service are always excellent, so why 3 stars? I took 2 stars off because my lunch came with no eating utensils. I ordered through Uber eats as I occasionally do, and this time, I had to go out to my car to get my emergency utensils out of my glove box, wasting almost half my lunch time. Not cool.
